A Teacher’s Journal: Is It That Easy To Give Your Child Away?

Author: 5 feet 11 inches tall, with broad shoulders and pointed nose, 14 years old Sebastian* is a real hunk. He is my regular tutee.
He is actually smart. He doesn’t need a tutor. On the other hand, he is extremely lazy. Well, that explains the regular visit to the tutorial center (which is not at all cheap).
One day, I accidentally asked about his parents, rather, I mistakenly said, “Your parents are just wasting their money. You don’t need a tutor. What you need is a study habit.”
To this he casually answered, “I don’t have any parents..”
That day, I was enlightened. His mom gave birth to him and left him to his childless tita (aunt) who raised him as her own son. She is the one who sends him to an exclusive school and tutorial center, and… naturally, pays the bill.
What happened to the mom? She ran away with a foreigner and is now gallivanting somewhere in Europe. Sebastian never met her.
Well, whatever his mom’s reason was for leaving him (for good), it’s none of my (or anybody’s) business. But every time I see Sebastian, I think of my own kids, and I deeply hope they will realize someday, how lucky they are that they have me…

Hi Kim, your maja blanca is purple? Baka it is sapin2x. Or di kaya nilagyan nang food color na purple kaya naging ganun. Let me know kung gusto mo nang recipe it is just so easy to make and you can do it ahead of time. Thanks sa bisita I do appreciate it.

Hi Kim, Kala ko naligaw ako at nakikita ko yung mga pix ng kids ni liz hahahah… Oo nga nakaakabagbaga damadamin yung mga batang iniiwan ng mga magulang but they have their own reasons..
aww! i feel sorry for him. But i hope he will do better with his life.
